After participating in a great "Ed-Chat" (#colchat to be precise) and poking around at my feed, I found myself feeling the side effects of Twitter once again. We all know the positive impact Twitter can have....Connecting with other educators, sharing ideas, learning from others, locating new and great resources. The list is endless. That being said, this unexpected side effect I speak of may have the biggest impact on me educator. As I read and see all the great things other amazing teachers are doing, I find myself driven to step up my game. The pitfall of instructional complacency is quickly swept away with each click of the mouse. When I joined Twitter, this is not one of the outcomes I was looking for, but it might be the most beneficial. Need to get yourself out of that rut? Spend some time with your PLN. |
